The Digital Cinematic

Movies have been a dominant art form for the last century.  Cinematic images have captured audiences and artists alike. With the advent of digital technology, film and video have become a base material for compositional and transmedia art. The new media cinema brought about the height of the video installation art form. The Digital Cinematic as an art form focuses its attentions on history (that of cinema and culture) and on audience and perception.
